Participants learn about CD’s, CD-R and CD-RW, how to burn CDs, DVD’s and downloading video, installing software, downloading from the Internet, Scanning, downloading photos to the PC from a digital camera, hardware components, and backing up files. Computer Maintenance will teach you how to perform maintenance on your computer such as deleting temporary files, emptying the recycle bin, running defragmenter, overcoming computer freezes, opening the computer to replace or upgrade computer parts, basic troubleshooting and internet security for spyware and viruses. This course also covers how to send and receive email using the outlook program or a free email service.
